Capital Sanitary Supply is Hiring a Commercial Cleaner Near Omaha, NE
Do you take pride in your performance and want to work with a great group of people? Join our team! Capital Sanitary Supply in Omaha is looking for an individual to join our team as a Commercial Cleaner, working Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
This position will perform general building cleaning in our office space and warehouse The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to be flexible, and is able to work independently.
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop flooring
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms
- Clean sink, countertops, microwave, and refrigerator in break rooms
- Restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms and common areas
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
- Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture
- Cleaning windowsills and windows
- Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
- Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals
- Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of commercial cleaning or janitorial experience and knowledge of/experience using floor care and general janitorial equipment
- Must be able to routinely walk, stand, and bend for the duration of the shift
- Must have the ability to lift items weighing more than 40 lbs.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment
- Applicant must be reliable, have an eye for detail, and be able to follow instructions

Scott has filled many roles in the company including warehouse, purchasing, sales and operations. Our Omaha Nebraska location was opened in 2012 bring us new opportuni- ties in the market. In 2014, Capital celebrated its 75th year in business and looks forward to continuing many more years of services to its market area. On March 14, 2016 Capital Sanitary Supply acquired Dubuque based Weber Paper Company. The acquisition allows for additional growth and better coverage in northeast Iowa, southwest Wisconsin and northwest Illinois.
